Parents

FMES is very blessed to have an active and engaged family community. The work of our dedicated volunteers covers virtually all aspects of the school’s operations and student life. Volunteering is a wonderful way to meet other FMES families and form the lasting friendships that make your experience here even more fulfilling.  There are many opportunities for families to join with the community.  Some examples include:

  • Parent Education Classes & Workshops
  • Classroom Support
  • Back to School Night
  • Harvest Carnival
  • Auction
  • Take Home Work
  • Staff Appreciation Week
  • Spring Field Day
  • Gardening Workday

RaiseRight (gift cards, both digital & physical)

What is it? Very simply, The RaiseRight app available for both Android & Apple) is a mobile payments app where between 1.25% - 50% of each transaction total is given to FMES! Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

By Families supporting this program, we are able to fund activities like our annual Harvest Carnival and Field Day events for our community. The convenience of the RaiseRight app makes this one of the easiest, least intrusive, most inexpensive ways to support the school!

The RaiseRight app is easily used to checkout in-store or online and funds the things that matter most through everyday transactions. Paying with RaiseRight is faster, safer, and more rewarding than traditional payment methods, and with over 750 retailers nationwide, you are bound to find the places you visit. Through this program you can purchase both eGift Cards and physical Gift Cards directly, or you can continue to place orders through Melissa McGuire for physical gift cards that she will distribute. If you place the orders directly with RaiseRight, you are able to pay online using your checking/savings account ($0.15 fee - plus shipping, if you select actual gift cards instead of eGift Cards with each order) or at checkout, you can select to use a credit card (2.6% fee - again, plus shipping if you select actual gift cards with each order). The other nice thing about this program is that you can reload existing cards within the app...Which helps eliminate waste! Reloaded funds are available to use instantly in the RaiseRight app. Please contact Melissa McGuire to learn more, get an inventory of available physical gift cards, or receive the link to our account.

Another bonus: Earn 1 Fair Share hour for every $250 (RaiseRight) purchase!

Fair Share Volunteer Program

All FMES families are asked to participate in our Fair Share Volunteer Program. This program encourages every family to engage in the community and take an equitable role in fostering its success. For details about our Fair Share Volunteer Program click here.
